Good morning!
my name is Sven, I'm new here and hope to find somebody to write in english (my polish skills are still a little poor). I'm maried with a polish woman and living near Gryfice.
Maybe I can share my LR-experiences with other members of this forum. I'm driving british cars since more than 25 years and in this time I learned:
it is not broken - it is british
Hope to get a responce
CU
Sven

Hi
There are some D3 owners here, and specialists that are familiar with that computerised space shuttle as well.
If you are experiencing any problems with it - just describe the problems and pray for them to response

There is also a possibility to service your D3 outside official LR authorized garages, which will be cheaper and maybe with better effects.
Learn polish, because you are missing a specific atmosphere of that forum

Hi Sven, on LR everyone here knows everything
I do not know whether you know it is the best Patrol, but the whole forum does not speak loudly.
So ask yourself whether you would not want Patrol
Greetings to You and the wife
PS atmosphere, as Damian wrote, is a very very special

I would say the magic!

Hey Guys,
many thx for this warm welcome and I got already an idea about the "magic atmosphere" here
- It is planed to continue my polish leseons during the next year.
- D3 vs. Patrol: there was a direct competition at UK tv. The result offroad: both cars have the same capability, but the D3 is doing his job more easier. Onroad: D3 wins clear.
... and 299 hp are making really some fun (except the often visits at the gas-station).
I'm a old guy (48) and need more comfort

, like a heated windshield e.g., this I can get only at Landrover or Mercedes G. Ok, to get a good service is a little more difficult. I spoke already with some LR-dealer in Poland and they didn''t had the smallest clue about this computerized car, regarding the V8-version: "we heared about, but we never saw". My next service (120.000km) will be in 3-5 month, so I've time to find somebody in my area.
regards
Sven

Well, that is strange. V8 D3 were ofkoz sold officially in Poland and there are many of them on roads (diesel are most popular, but V8 are quite common too). On the other hand - quality and professionalism (or lack of it) of authorized services are very poor (regarding to polish D3 users).
Look for unauthorized LR specialists. Many of them have already gained knowledge of a computerised new LRs. Maybe Poznan will be the right place to visit -
http://www.moli.pl - they even built a D3 for a Dakar rally, so they might have sobe exp

Thanks for that link, I will try them.
I spoke with the two official LR-shops in Poznan and I was scared to let do them the service.
And the pricing was bizarr too:
Poznan 1 = 2.000,- zl, 4 hours
Poznan 2 = 2.600,- zl, 6 hours
the nearest service in Germany = 1.200,- zl, 3 hours
I have the official printout from the service-handbook, the 120.000km-service will take exact 2 hours.
Spare parts I try to buy in any case at the aftermarket in UK, the difference in enormous.
Until now I didn't had some serious problems with the car, except the standard things, like water in the car caused by the blocked water-drain of the roof etc. But my car got his service until now in Germany, it is not a re-import from USA. This can make some differences.
regards
Sven

As far as I know the prices at official LR shops are a widely discussed issue.
Moli shall be a good choice.
I forgot about SST near Poznan, which is owned by Paul - he is purely UK-import

But I don't know him personally and dunno if they can handle D3. He is in LR business for years.
http://www.landrover.ig.pl/kontakt.html - so you can compare service prices to Moli.

No, I'm just living at the country-side. Every trip for shoping can get an adventure on the "streets" in my area.
And I need this car for hunting, fishing and my dogs.
No special section for farmers need

(not caused by me in any case).
@ rafi 109 & Damian:
Thanks for this 2nd. contact in Poznan.

Sven

I'm not so sure. Maybe not for you, but ...
Everyone more enlightened know, that there is only one leading car amongst Warsaw farmers
... it is black navara, with big alloy wheels and shining pipe equipped with modern lights etc.
therefore it's obvious, that such a subforum is suppoused to be placed in ... nissan section
so be friendly to colleague needs and daily problems

Of course I'm friendly, that is the reason that the sentence ends with "(
not caused by me in any case)".
I don't have something against a section for farmers, but it just don't makes any sense for me.
Regarding SST:
Looks like a very good recommendation, Paul will be the right guy for my needs and the distance is just 200km.

Sven
